Ahner Industrial
AI connector privacy notice
Effective October 14, 2026. This notice describes information handled by Ahner’s public customer quoting connector, including connections through Muse.
Information you choose to share
We receive drawings and filenames you upload, the geometry derived from them, material and thickness selections, quantities, finishing requests, and quote and order details. Saving a quote requires a customer name and email; company and phone information are optional. An order may include a purchase-order number and the details needed to fulfill it.
The connector does not require an Ahner account, access your Muse conversation history, or receive payment-card or bank credentials. Your AI platform separately controls what it sends to Ahner and how it stores conversations and tool results.
How we use information
We use submitted information to analyze drawings, calculate shop prices, save requested quotes, review manufacturing requirements, and process orders you confirm. Ahner staff can access the information needed for quoting and fulfillment. Final order submission can send customer and shop notices through our existing email service.
The service uses hosting, database, file-storage, CAD-processing, and email providers to operate these workflows. Opening website pages may also use the site’s session cookies and website analytics. The private browser-upload page does not load website analytics or other third-party scripts.
For security and support, website and connector upload and pricing requests record the observed IP address, browser or client software identifier, referring website origin, operation, status, timestamp, account or workspace identifiers, drawing filenames and fingerprints, and selected manufacturing options. Connector initialization may record the client name and version supplied by the client. These security records are restricted to authorized administrators, are retained for up to 180 days, and support limits across anonymous sessions. They do not contain passwords, cookies, authorization credentials, private workspace handles, payment details, or complete request bodies.
An authorized administrator may request an approximate network location and provider lookup from ipapi.is using the observed IP address. A network location can describe a VPN, shared connection, or hosting provider and does not establish a person's identity or physical location.
Workspace access and retention
Your assistant receives a private workspace handle that grants access to that workspace’s parts, quotes, and orders. It expires after seven days. Browser upload links are limited to uploading and expire after 20 minutes. Keep both private and avoid putting confidential information in filenames.
Expiring a workspace blocks further connector access; it does not automatically erase drawings, saved checkout links, quotes, or business records. Disconnecting a connector in an AI platform does not notify this anonymous service automatically. To end workspace access immediately, your assistant can POST your private workspace_id to https://pricing.ahner-industrial.com/api/agent/v1/workspaces/revoke. This also disables its browser-upload links. Saved checkout links retain their normal access rules.
Contact us to request deletion of drawings, quotes, or other personal information. We verify the request before changing records. We may retain information needed for existing orders, manufacturing, accounting, resolving disputes, or applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Your choices and support
Only upload files you have permission to share. Do not upload classified material or export-controlled technical data through this public connector. Review your AI platform’s privacy settings before sharing sensitive drawings.
